Advanced Higher Physics & Higher Engineering Science classes experienced a hands-on workshop with the Taurob Robots “Mario” & “Edward” today.
TOTAL specialists spoke about the role of the robots in the inspection process and in the detection of gas leaks. Each Robot is worth £330,000 and currently there are only 10 in the world.
AHS pupils were very lucky to participate in a race using the robots and link classroom learning on boilers and CIP systems to the uses of the Robots. Time was then spent talking about the different apprenticeship and graduate pathways within TOTAL as part of our Developing the Young Workforce programme.
